Last updated: [date]

BetOn Media Group ("BetOn", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This notice explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using our website, submitting a form or booking a call with us, you agree to the handling of your information as described here.

1.Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name and business name
  • Email address and phone number

  • Anything else you choose to tell us in a message, call or enquiry

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and browser information, IP address, and general location
  • How you interact with our website and ads (pages viewed, actions taken)
  • Information collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies (see section 4)

2.How we collect it

We collect information when you submit a form or booking request, contact us, interact with our ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), or browse our website. Where practical we collect information directly from you. If we receive your information from a third party (for example an advertising platform), we handle it under this notice.

3.Why we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and book and confirm your call
  • To provide, run and improve our services
  • To qualify enquiries and match them to the right service
  • To send you relevant communications about our services (you can opt out at any time)
  • To measure and improve our advertising and website
  • To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

4.Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make it work, understand how it is used, and measure our advertising. This includes:

  • Meta Pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. This may involve Meta receiving information about your actions on our website. Meta processes this data under its own terms and policies.
  • Booking and form tracking (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector). Our forms, booking calendar and pipeline run on the GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) platform, which processes the details you submit so we can contact and book you.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

5.Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run our business, including with:

  • Service providers who help us operate, such as our CRM and booking platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), advertising platforms (Meta), email and communication tools, and hosting providers
  • Professional advisers such as our accountants or lawyers, where reasonably required
  • Authorities or others where required or authorised by law

6.Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (including Meta and GoHighLevel / LeadConnector) are based overseas, including in the United States. This means your information may be stored or processed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information appropriately.

7.Marketing communications

Where you have enquired or given consent, we may send you communications about our services. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us at the details below. We will action opt-out requests promptly.

8.How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including through our platforms' security measures and restricting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and retain it only as long as we reasonably need it or the law requires.

9.Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or out of date. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.

10.Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
